For Riders, Couriers & Delivery Drivers

Welcome to the Ezzy Delivery Qatar team!

This onboarding kit explains your responsibilities, payment flow, and daily delivery process.

Driver Requirements

To join, you must have:

  • Valid Qatar ID
  • Valid Qatar Driving License
  • Own vehicle (car/bike)
  • Phone with mobile data
  • Clean behaviour & punctuality

Daily Workflow

Step 1 – Pickup
  • Arrive at warehouse/store
  • Scan packages
  • Load parcels by route
Step 2 – Delivery Process

For each delivery:

  1. Call customer
  2. Confirm location
  3. Deliver package safely
  4. Collect COD (if applicable)
  5. Update status in the app
  6. Take delivery proof (photo/signature)
Step 3 – End-of-Day
  • Submit COD
  • Return undelivered parcels
  • Report issues to supervisor

Delivery Rules

Drivers must follow:

  • No delays
  • No arguments with customers
  • Be polite
  • Keep cash safe
  • Complete scanning
  • Respectful communication

Cash on Delivery (COD) Rules

Important COD Rules:

  • Collect exact amount shown
  • Count money in front of the customer
  • Deposit cash at office SAME DAY
  • Never hold money overnight
  • Never reduce, modify, or accept partial payments

Failure to follow COD protocol leads to penalties.

Returns Procedure

Return parcel when:

  • Customer not answering
  • Customer refused
  • Incorrect number
  • Address unreachable

Important: Always mark correct status.

Accident or Issue Handling

If accidents/issues occur:

  1. Stop safely
  2. Inform supervisor
  3. Send photos and location
  4. Wait for instructions

Safety is priority.

Driver Payout

Drivers are paid:

  • Weekly OR Monthly
Based on:
  • Number of deliveries
  • COD accuracy
  • Performance
Incentives available for:
  • Zero return days
  • High accuracy
  • Fast route completion

Behaviour & Discipline

Drivers must:

  • Maintain professional behaviour
  • Keep vehicle clean
  • Avoid loud music at deliveries
  • Dress neatly
  • Follow team leaders' instructions
  • Never delay reporting
